Summer Adventure

During 7 days you will stay in nature and try various activities – from setting up camp and cooking over the fire, navigating with a map and compass, to sport climbing and exploring the depths of a cave.

As a group, you will be fully responsible for the success of the expedition. You will carry food and camping equipment in your backpacks, agree on which route to take on the map, and determine where to cross the river.

Each Outward Bound program will feature different participants and instructors, making each program unique. Weather conditions and the group's motivation will also affect what your expedition looks like. You can expect something like the following:

Day 1

• Arrival at the location in the Educational Center Veliki Žitnik (Veliki Žitnik 17) at 11 AM
• Introduction to Outward Bound
• Icebreaking and team building activities
• Survival workshops in nature – how to navigate using a map and compass, build a shelter, start a fire
• Equipment issuance and packing, departure for the expedition
• Setting up camp – building a shelter, preparing a fire pit, cooking over the fire
• Evening circle and reflection on the day by the fire
• Overnight in camp

Day 2-5

• Morning circle
• Breakfast and tidying up the camp
• Hiking expedition – orientation, peak conquering, climbing and descending the rock, cave exploration, raft building, volunteer solidarity action with the local community
• Setting up the camp, making a shelter, preparing the fire pit, cooking over the fire
• Evening circle and reflection on the day by the fire
• Overnight stay in the camp

Day 6

• Morning circle
• Breakfast
• Solo - time for solitude and rest in the camp
• Cooking on the fire
• Evening circle and reflection on the day by the fire
• Overnight stay in the camp

Day 7

• Morning circle
• Breakfast and tidying up the camp
• Return from the expedition to the center
• Equipment check-in
• Closing ceremony and program closure
• Lunch
• End of the program - 13:00 hours
